Dentures may be recommended by one of our dentists If you have a missing or damaged tooth. Dentures will help you to replace the gap and enhance your mouth's appearance. In addition to this, it will also help prevent strain on tooth at either side of the mouth.

We provide two types of dentures at Smith & Jain, complete and partial dentures.

Complete Dentures are fitted in when all of the teeth within a jaw have been lost. The denture is a removable appliance made after all of the teeth have been removed and the gum tissue has begun to heal. Dental implants may also be fitted in to support the dentures.

When you have one or more teeth remaining, either in the upper or lower jaw, then partial dentures would be a more appropriate treatment measure. A partial denture fill will prevent other teeth from changing position. Partial dentures are removable and natural looking appliances to help you restore the form and function of your jaw. These partial dentures can be made up of plastic or metal with plastic.
